ABOUT THE ARTIST
Allentown, Pa. native, Chris P Jones has been creating innovative Pop Art for the last 40 years. Chris co-founded Eye Candy Studio in Kutztown, Pa. and Popmart Art Gallery in Bethlehem, Pa. where he was curator. His published work includes his Princess Diana Painting in "Diana in Art"and "Only in Holland, Only the Dutch" in which he illustrated the entire book. Currently Chris has co-founded Mad Road Artists, a visual and musical troupe that performs/paints live and is working on new Art.
Chris's Art is purchased and exhibited across the country and around the world. Most recently in Allentown, PA, New York City, Hoboken, NJ, Hollywood, CA, Louisville, KY and Xiamen, China.
current projects
Chris currently creates and works at his studio at The Alternative Gallery, a local non-profit organization located in an old cigar factory that serves as studio space for many local artists in Allentown, as well as a performance venue, print shop, film archive, and much more. Chris has been involved with The Alternative Gallery for 10 years, working as an artist but also as a volunteer with the organization. His art can be found to purchase right here on his website, but you also may catch him vending at events hosted by The Alternative Gallery, among other regional vending opportunities.
